The announcement of PSL schedule officially marks the countdown for Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament. Six teams will battle it out for over a month in thirty-four grueling matches to be crowned as the PSL 2022 champions. PSL Schedule 2022
According to the PSL schedule 2022, the tournament is set to commence from 27 January and the first match of the competition will be played between defending champions, Multan Sultans, and former champions, Karachi Kings. The match will be played at National Stadium Karachi, which is one of the two venues for the entirety of PSL 7.
Pakistan Super League Schedule 2022
The final of PSL 2022 will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 27 February. The play-offs for the tournament are also scheduled to be played at the same venue according to the PSL schedule.

Important Fixtures to Remember
Apart from the final of PSL 2022, the PSL 7 schedule also reveals some other important fixtures throughout the competition. PSL offers the excited fans to see their favorite teams and stars take on the field and face fierce rivals. One such rivalry is that of Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings. The two arch-rivals will face-off against each other twice in the group stages of the tournament. The two will go head-to-head once in Karachi and once in Lahore as the first match between the two will be played on 30 January at National Stadium Karachi while the second match will be held at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 18 February.
After the 30-match group stage, four top teams will move onto the PSL 2022 play-offs. All three play-off matches and the final of PSL 7 will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. According to the PSL 2022 schedule, the play-offs will commence with the qualifier on 23 February. The 1st eliminator will be played on 24 February and the 2nd eliminator will be played on 25 February. The final of the competition will be played on 27 February.
Venues and Timings
According to the Pakistan Super League schedule, this time around, the PSL will be held at two venues in Pakistan. The first phase of the tournament which includes 15 group stage matches will be played at National Stadium Karachi while the second phase will be held at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore which includes a total of 19 matches including the play-offs and the final of PSL 2022.
Last year’s tournament was partially played in Pakistan as the second phase of the tournament was shifted to UAE due to the ongoing pandemic. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to hold the entire PSL 7 in Pakistan this time around.
Day matches of PSL 2022 will be played at 2 pm, while the night matches will start at 7 pm. On Fridays, both the matches will be played an hour later i.e. day matches at 3 pm and night matches at 8 pm.
